Difference Between Dofollow And Nofollow Links



If you are a blogger then you will definitely know about links .How they  work.How many types of links available.

Nofollow

This is an HTML attribute That gives a command to search bots not to follow this types of links.This also stops search engine to index spam content.This concept is introduced by matt Cutts and Jason in 2005

There are two types of links available 1.dofollow link 2.nofollow link

Difference Between dofollow and nofollow



Nofollow link

nofollow link is a link that gives a command to search engines not to follow this type of links.This type of link doesn't pass link juice of your site.Only humans will able to follow this type of links.Google announced that this type of link less value in search engines.If you want to link any site but you don't want to pass link juice of your site then use this type of link.Link juice is simple meaning of site reputation.

Dofollow Link

This type of link is followed by search engine bots.This type of links gives us link juice and a backlink.

If any website owner links you with this type of link then both human nd search engines follow that links.To give someone this link is the best way to give an anchor text to a site and hide the link under the anchor text.

Google clear that they also follow nofollow links its better to earn nofollow links with dofollow links.Don't earn only dofollow links may be your site will penalized.

This tells to search bots to not to follow links of full page

Link Attribute :<a href=”http://www.alltechmonster.com” rel=”nofollow”>

This type of link tells to search engine to not count the links in ranking pages

Generally, maximum links are dofollow if you want to find out then inspect the link by clicking ctrl=shift+i if you found nofollow word in the link then that is nofollow link
